Shipping Policy

Dispatch and Warehouse

All orders are dispatched from our EU warehouse. Stock is held within the European Union, enabling us to offer competitive transit times to the UK and across Europe without the additional lead times associated with non-EU shipping origins.

Orders received before 14:00 CET on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding EU public holidays) are typically processed and dispatched the same day. Orders received after 14:00 CET or on weekends/public holidays are dispatched the next business day.

Delivery to the United Kingdom

Following Brexit, EU-to-UK shipments pass through UK customs. Please note:

• Estimated transit time: 5–10 business days from dispatch
• All shipments are tracked. Tracking details are sent to your email address once your order has been dispatched
• Delivery is to your specified shipping address. Signature may be required for some parcels
• If a delivery attempt fails, the carrier will leave a collection notice

Delivery Across Europe

We ship to all EU member states and select non-EU European countries. Estimated delivery times within the EU are typically 3–7 business days. Transit times to Norway, Switzerland, and other non-EU countries may be longer.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination country and order weight. Orders above a certain value threshold may qualify for complimentary shipping — check the checkout page for current thresholds.

Packaging

All orders are shipped in plain, discreet outer packaging. No identifying labels, brand names, or product descriptions appear on the exterior of the parcel. Inner packaging protects vials from physical damage during transit. Lyophilised peptide vials are robust and do not require temperature-controlled shipping for typical transit durations.

UK Customs

Research chemicals imported from the EU into the UK are subject to standard customs procedures. For quantities consistent with personal research use:

• Goods are declared accurately as "research chemicals" or "peptide research reagents" on customs documentation
• Most orders for personal research quantities clear UK customs without delay or additional duty
• Import VAT may be assessed by HMRC for goods above the £135 customs threshold — this is the responsibility of the recipient
• Some parcels may be held at customs for inspection; this is infrequent but does occur. If your parcel is delayed, contact your local customs office with the tracking number

Tracking Your Order

A tracking number is emailed to you once your order has been dispatched. You can track your parcel directly on the carrier's website. If you do not receive tracking information within 2 business days of placing your order, contact us at contact@uk-peptides.eu.

Lost or Damaged Parcels

In the rare event that a parcel is lost or arrives damaged:

• Report damaged goods within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence
• For lost parcels, contact us after 15 business days from dispatch (this allows time for customs processing and carrier delays)
• We will investigate with the carrier and, where a loss is confirmed, arrange replacement or refund
